BLES has been a leading provider of nursing affiliation services for over a decade, delivering a well-rounded OJT experience for students. The challenge was twofold: refresh and rename the existing brand to feel more modern and cohesive, and create a comprehensive brand booklet that clearly outlines and showcases all their services.

Bright Life Essential Solutions Inc. (BLES) provides essential services for nursing students completing their OJT in Manila. Many students come from the provinces and rely on BLES for a complete package—including accommodations (partnered with Golden Panda Dormtel), meals, laundry, and transportation—so they can focus fully on their studies while having all their basic needs taken care of.


The challenge was finding a way to make the brand feel modern while staying true to BLES’s identity. I wanted to maintain the essence of Bright Light while aligning it with Bright Life, and the imagery of the sun felt like the most natural fit. The refresh included expanding the color palette and updating the business cards, giving the brand a more contemporary and cohesive look.

From concept to final design, I handled the booklet layout, photography, and editing. Close collaboration with the client ensured the booklet clearly communicated what the audience needed to know. I divided the booklet into four colors to represent each of BLES’s services, with dedicated photos capturing the cooking process and the dormitory—both shot and edited by me. The result is a cohesive, visually engaging guide that brings the services to life.

The brand refresh and booklet made BLES’s services easy to understand and the brand more approachable. Seeing it in use showed how a thoughtful refresh can help a company connect with its audience and stand out.
